FASHION + MUSIC • Zimbabwean musicians especially the young crop are becoming increasingly fashion-conscious, investing in their wardrobes and paying greater attention to how they present themselves in music videos, live performances, interviews and public appearances.
This is a commendable shift. Fashion helps artists define their brands, strengthen their stage presence and create memorable visual identities. Even more encouraging is that many are working with local stylists and designers, helping to promote and grow Zimbabwe’s fashion industry.
We need to know some of the designers and stylists behind artists’ looks so that they can get more support and business.
