The 115th edition of the Zimbabwe Agricultural and Business Show opened this Monday at The Business Hub (formerly Harare Showgrounds) in Harare, with organisers projecting meaningful business exchanges, knowledge sharing, and strategies to drive growth across sectors.
Running from August 25 to 30, the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show is blending trade, agriculture, and entertainment, with top artists Jah Prayzah, Feli Nandi, ExQ, and Junior Spragga billed to headline the closing concert on August 30.
Day one featured a Schools Quiz competition and the Green Indaba, while exhibitors welcomed thousands of visitors to their stands. As early as 9 a.m exhibitors were already engaging with visitors, handing out souvenirs and showcasing their products.

Among the standout new participants is Scotland FC, which has drawn attention with an immaculate display featuring team highlight videos, player portraits, ambulance services, and even a makeshift soccer pitch where visitors can test their skills by scoring goals to win prizes.

Other key exhibitors include CMED, Agriseeds, and TelOne, showcasing a wide range of products and innovations.
Major parastatals such as Air Zimbabwe, the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe, National Handling Services, the Immigration Department, and the Zimbabwe Revenue Authority are also on site, presenting their latest developments.
When the earGround TV crew toured the stands to explore this year’s offerings, a clear message emerged from major corporates: Zimbabweans across the social and economic divide need to see and experience the new products and services being showcased.

The Zimbabwe Agricultural Show will be officially opened on Friday.
This year’s edition has attracted over 500 exhibitors, up from 480 last year, with exhibition space uptake rising to nearly 80,000 square metres. Highlights include agricultural produce, tobacco, cotton, livestock, and commercial displays, as well as family-friendly attractions such as a kids’ fun park, fireworks, police displays, and bikers’ demonstrations.
The livestock section has recorded strong participation with 120 cattle, 78 goats, 68 sheep, 26 pigs, 84 rabbits, and over 100 poultry entries. The tobacco and cotton sections are focusing on value addition and youth participation, underscoring the show’s role in promoting innovation and sustainability.

Organisers say the 2025 Zimbabwe Agricultural Show remains the country’s largest platform linking agriculture, business, and industry, while also offering cultural and entertainment experiences for visitors.
