Zimbabwean artist Kelvin Jones, also known as Tinashe Kelvin Mupani, is making waves across Europe with his current tour. The 29-year-old born Chitungwiza has carved a niche in the pop and pop-rock genres.

His rise to fame began with the breakout single “Call You Home.” After a friend shared it on Reddit, the song exploded in popularity, even landing airtime on Good Morning America. This success propelled Jones towards a major record deal with Sony, encompassing Four Music in Germany, Epic Records in England, and RCA in America.
Jones’ talent didn’t go unnoticed in the touring world either. In 2015, he opened for Mark Forster’s “Bauch und Kopf” tour. He then followed that up with supporting acts for X Ambassadors in early 2016 and James Morrison’s “Higher Than Here” European tour later that year.
Beyond touring, “Call You Home” also found a place in British television, featuring on the ITV series “Cold Feet.” Jones further solidified his presence in the mainstream with a 2017 Centurylink ad campaign that aired during the Super Bowl.
Kelvin Jones’ story is a testament to Zimbabwean talent reaching a global audience. His current European tour is a continuation of his impressive journey in the international music scene.
