This year’s festival boasts an eclectic lineup featuring top professional musicians alongside emerging talents. Performances will take place across three distinct venues: the plush Montclair Hotel & Casino stage, Ilima Records and Nyangani FM’s Local Emerging Talent Showcase (LETS), and the Chief Saunyama Community stage at Maereka Primary School.

An initiative of Nhimbe Trust in partnership with Montclair Hotel & Casino, the Nyanga Arts Festival aims to enhance Nyanga’s leisure industry by promoting its eco-friendly attributes through arts, culture, and heritage. The festival seeks to boost tourism in the Eastern Highlands, appealing to both local and international visitors with a vibrant program of activities.

Since its inception in 2022, the festival has showcased a diverse array of Zimbabwean artists, from top-selling acts to emerging talents set to enrich the national music industry. Managed by experienced arts professionals from Harare and Bulawayo, the festival has a strong track record of staging successful music events, tours, and festivals.

In addition to celebrating the arts, the festival aims to foster artistic collaborations and cultural exchanges. It also serves as a platform to enhance environmental awareness among both audiences and artists, showcasing the tourism potential of the breathtaking mountainous region and its facilities.

Officially recognized by the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority and the Hospitality Association of Zimbabwe, the Nyanga Arts Festival has made significant strides in its two-year existence, achieving a global online footprint in over 71 countries and amassing more than 81,638 social media impressions.

Godfrey Koti, Head of Corporate Affairs at the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, praised the festival in 2023, saying, “The Nyanga Arts Festival is a big boost to domestic tourism. We are grateful for the partnership with Nhimbe Trust, as it affirms that Zimbabwe is a multi-faceted destination with arts, culinary activities, culture, the environment, and adventure tourism. This is the place for it.”

Highlighting the roster from Bulawayo is the exciting new collaboration ‘IMVELO,’ composed of some of the city’s most seasoned singers, dancers, and musicians. Also performing is the vibrant young jazz singer-songwriter Vuyo Brown, who has garnered acclaim both locally and internationally. Additional artists from across Zimbabwe will be announced soon.
