January 5, 2025 – Tsungai Tsikirai last night has officially unveiled her highly anticipated sophomore album, African Queen, a celebration of African culture and an electrifying fusion of traditional rhythms and modern sounds. Launched yesterday at the Jasen Mphepo Little Theatre in Harare, this new project is already being hailed as a milestone in her musical journey.

Building on the success of her debut album, Rova Ngoma, which garnered widespread acclaim for its empowering lyrics and infectious beats, African Queen takes listeners on a deeper exploration of African heritage. The album masterfully blends indigenous instruments like the mbira and marimba with cutting-edge production techniques, delivering a sound that is both timeless and innovative.
