HARARE — Afro gospel musician Daniel Mazoe, known by his stage name Sir Afro, is set to headline The Encounter Room show this Saturday at Blissful Studio 30 Bola House in Harare. The worship-focused event will bring together gospel ministers for an immersive night of music, prayer, and spiritual engagement aimed at creating an atmosphere of revival and deep worship experience.

Sir Afro said The Encounter Room is designed as a sacred space where believers can experience the manifestation of God’s power through worship. “The Encounter Room is a space that allows people to experience the full manifestation of the power and glory of God through true worshipping,” he said. “I am praying that the congregation may experience miracles, signs and wonders as they pour out their hearts in worship.”
The show will feature gospel artists including James, Pastor Absa, Pastor Josh Kays, and Ambassador Ryan David, who will lead worship sessions, intercession, and ministry moments throughout the evening. Organisers say the lineup has been carefully structured to create a flow that blends energetic praise with moments of deep reflection, prayer, and spiritual encounter.
Sir Afro’s management representative Lynn said the team intentionally selected a venue that accommodates about 200 people to ensure a more intimate and engaging atmosphere. “We chose a venue that accommodates a maximum of two hundred people and we are going to be in the middle of the crowd so that they feel more involved in the experience,” she said. She added that this setup is meant to remove distance between artists and the audience, encouraging participation and connection.
Sir Afro said attendees should expect both energetic praise and reflective worship. “There will be dancing of course but mainly worship songs that allow the congregation to focus on God,” he said. “Expect a sound that connects to your soul and spirit.” He added that his desire is for people to leave with testimonies confirming God’s power after the experience.
Sir Afro is known for his dynamic gospel ministry, blending heartfelt worship with a modern soul-infused sound that continues to attract a growing following across Zimbabwe’s gospel music scene.
