From a young age, Prime Minister drew inspiration from reggae icons such as Dennis Brown, Sanchez, Shabba Ranks, Capleton, and Bounty Killer. In Greencroft, Mabelreign’s vibrant suburb, his vocals could be heard resonating even on the bustling streets, marking him as a local legend. His genre fuses Christian beliefs with reggae, delivered through vocals and percussion as a singerjay and deejay active since 2002. Attending Holiday Bible School at Greencroft Church of Christ as a young teen in the early 2000s offered a deeper glimpse into his world. Today, as a youth pastor at a local Baptist church and an Associate Degree holder in Theology from Victory Bible Institute, he channels that foundation into his music.
Prime Minister performs live with Zimbabwe’s House of Stone Reggae Band and has shared stages, both locally and internationally, with artists such as Deitrick Haddon, Lecrae, Kirk Franklin, Chevelle Franklin, Dafari, and Pastor G.
Without the backing of a major label, his independent grind culminated in events like the Red Carpet Affair III Edition, held on December 27, 2025, where he headlined as a guest artist.
