The Zimbabwe-born singer-songwriter and vocal powerhouse FRYA has five songs featured on Season 2 of the Netflix’s second African original hit series Blood & Water, four of which are from her debut album ‘Balance’ due for release next month; all alongside the series theme song creation she collaborated on with renowned producer Mr Kamera.

Rooftop Promotions has organized a fundraising musical concert to be hosted by its performance venue Theatre in the Park this Friday October 1st, 2021 between 6:30 PM and 9:30 PM. The concert is aimed at fundraising for the music legend Bob Nyabinde fondly known as The Headmaster who has been unwell for a while. Artists expected to perform are Hope Masike, Victor Kunonga, Prudence Katomeni, Tariro neGitare, Agga Nyabinde and Chipo Muchegwa. 

Nutty O’s Mustard Seed was well watered by hard work and sweat, deeply rooted and highly fertile. This is going to eventually  lead to a paradigm shift of his music and sound thereby birthing his own musical trademark. The good part of it is it will enable him to compete with himself and  with all support and work, he will join fellow African music counterparts like Davido, Wizkid, Oma Lay, Burna Boy and Fireboy DML, among others who are already at the top.

Zimbabwe creatives especially in music have for a long time bemoaned the lack of corporate support. Well, if the events from last week’s 10th edition of the Zimbabwe Achievers Awards are anything to go by then a new season is upon us.
