When I bumped into Jah Prayzah at around 4pm on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at the Harare International Conference Centre (HICC), it was immediately clear that the final show of his Ndini Mukudzeyi World Tour was not going to be an ordinary event. Scheduled to perform at 11:30pm, the star had arrived a full seven hours earlier — a sign of the consummate professional he has become.
A Homecoming Worthy of a Global Star
The tour had taken him across Europe, the Americas, Asia, and Southern Africa. Ending it in Harare felt fitting — a return to the people who witnessed his early struggles and celebrated his rise.

By early evening, the scene outside HICC spoke for itself. Tickets had sold out at all outlets, queues wound around the venue, and latecomers were turned away. Inside, the auditorium filled with astonishing speed. VVIP and VIP sections had sold out well in advance. Fans travelled from across Harare and beyond, hungry to witness a milestone performance from an artist who continues to raise the bar.
The buzz intensified when Jah Prayzah posted his final update of the day at 6:30pm — a bold “SOLD OUT.”
What a year, what a beautiful number of fans I have. I love you all… Can’t wait to give you a magical performance tonight.
The message sent a surge of excitement across his fan base.
Gateway Stream Media Delivers a World-Class Show
Gateway Stream Media, co-promoters of the event, demonstrated exemplary precision and professionalism. Their technical and logistical execution matched the grandeur of the concert. Crystal lighting, pristine visuals and seamless coordination transformed HICC into a world-class stage befitting a global performer.
A Stage That Elevated Everyone
Before Jah Prayzah even stepped onto the stage, a lineup of supporting artists made full use of the platform.
- Tocky Vibes delivered a powerful redemption performance.
- Tammy Moyo captivated fans with vocal purity and tight choreography.
- Seh Calaz rekindled his connection with fans through explosive energy.
- Malloti, Culture Love, Young Gemini, and Chillmaster each added their unique flair and growing confidence.
DJs Ollah 7, Godfather Templeman, C Skillz, IROQ, Probeats, and Abisha Palmer kept the energy high between sets.

This wasn’t just a concert — it was an ecosystem. Vendors, creatives, transporters, designers, photographers, videographers, and bloggers all benefitted from the massive turnout. It was a reminder of how one artist’s success feeds an entire value chain.
A Thunderous Entrance
When Godfather Templeman finally introduced Jah Prayzah just before midnight, the crowd erupted. The auditorium shook with screams, song, and raised phones capturing the moment.
He opened with the tour’s title track, Ndini Mukudzeyi, delivering it with emotional precision. It was a promise — and he kept it.
Hit after hit followed, performed with flawless consistency. The choreography was sharp, instrumentation tight, and vocals delivered with international polish.
Ruzhowa: A Spiritual Moment
One of the night’s defining moments came when the opening chords of Ruzhowa played. Before Jah Prayzah could sing, the entire crowd took over the song — every lyric, every note — for more than four minutes. The artist and his band simply watched in awe.
Fans demanded a retake, and he obliged, turning it into an unforgettable cultural ritual. At that moment, the concert transcended entertainment and entered the realm of shared spiritual experience.
Before I released Ndini Mukudzeyi album I never pictured or imagined Ruzhowa being as great as it is, of course I knew it was a great worship song but not one to reach these heights. My biggest lesson from this is just try to do something nomatter how small you may think it is, Mwari vanogona kuita zvishamiso because Mwari pavanopindira nothing makes sense.” Jah Prayzah
A Tour Defined by Professionalism
The tour itself has been a statement of Jah Prayzah’s growth — from Wolverhampton to Düsseldorf, Johannesburg to Tokyo, Sydney to Cape Town, fans across continents responded with passion. Even the setbacks of visa denials for the Washington D.C. and Dallas shows did not shake him; he handled the situation with maturity and tact.
Behind his success is a disciplined management team led by Keen Mushapaidze, who has taken the reins from the legendary Mama Philo. The ever-consistent 3G The Band continues to deliver with precision and unity, demonstrating hours of disciplined rehearsal and shared vision.
Rooted in Culture, Soaring Internationally
Jah Prayzah’s music remains deeply rooted in Zimbabwean cultural and spiritual textures. The echoes of Thomas Mapfumo and Oliver Mtukudzi are felt not as imitation, but as lineage and evolution. Tracks like Ruzhowa, Mubvunzo, Ibvo, and Shuga show a born-free artist who still carries the soul of Zimbabwe’s musical heritage.
More Than an Artist
The gifts, tributes, and emotional stories shared by fans reinforce what Zimbabwe already knows: Jah Prayzah is no longer just an entertainer. He is a unifier, a cultural ambassador, and a symbol of national pride.
The Ndini Mukudzeyi World Tour has cemented one truth:
Jah Prayzah has come of age. He is no longer simply an artist — he is an institution, a movement, a platform, and a force shaping the future of Zimbabwean music.
