Miss Ebony Zimbabwe: A Pageant Like No Other
Miss Ebony Zimbabwe’s unconventional format ensures that contestants are tested on resilience, leadership, and cultural intelligence.
1. 7-Day Bootcamp in the Bush
Before stepping onto the stage, contestants will embark on an intensive cultural and leadership bootcamp featuring:
• Survival training – Connecting with the land through farming, bush walks, and traditional skills.
• Ethical debates – Discussing African identity, empowerment, and decolonisation.
• Cultural immersion – Learning and showcasing Zimbabwe’s diverse languages, customs, and artistic traditions.
2. The Crown: A Platform for Change
Winning is not just about wearing a crown—it’s about using it. Contestants will advocate for social causes, proving that beauty queens can also be activists, innovators, and role models.
3. Global Stage: Taking Zimbabwe to Africa
The winner will represent Zimbabwe at a Pan-African platform in Johannesburg, amplifying the message of decolonised beauty and empowerment across the continent.
4. Farm-Inspired Fashion Showcase
Miss Ebony Zimbabwe is breaking from traditional pageant norms by replacing the swimwear segment with a Farm-Inspired Fashion Showcase. Designed by Ivhu Tribe, this segment highlights Zimbabwe’s rural heritage while celebrating creativity and sustainability.

• Gianni Bauce – Conservationist and advocate for Zimbabwean tourism.
• Yollanda Elizabeth Chimbarami – Miss World Zimbabwe Beauty with Purpose, economist, and philanthropist.
• Sharon Chingwaro – Founder of Mambokadzi Bath and Body, an expert in Zimbabwean ethnomedicine.
• Lindiwe Noma Mtamzeli – Mining surveyor, influencer, and STEM advocate.
