Zimbabwe’s creative heartbeat is set to resonate across Harare as the highly anticipated St. Ignatius Festival returns on 22 August 2026 at the iconic Old Hararians Sports Club. Blending world-class entertainment with a meaningful community-driven cause, this year’s edition promises to be one of the biggest cultural celebrations on the local events calendar.
Celebrating the richness and diversity of Zimbabwe’s music landscape, the festival has assembled an impressive lineup that spans multiple genres and generations. Leading the charge is award-winning music superstar Jah Prayzah, whose electrifying live performances continue to captivate audiences both at home and abroad. Joining him on stage will be the dynamic Tamy Moyo, known for her powerful vocals and vibrant stage presence.
Adding youthful energy and lyrical depth to the festival is rising hip-hop sensation Saint Floew, alongside one of Zimbabwe’s most respected rap voices, Voltz JT. Their performances are expected to bring an exciting blend of storytelling, creativity, and contemporary urban culture to the festival stage.
The event’s commitment to inclusivity is further reflected in its gospel offering, featuring uplifting performances from ROMAC and Fr. Mobie. Keeping the atmosphere alive throughout the day will be an energetic lineup of DJs, including DJ T-Eyes, DJ Spice, and DJ Spunj, ensuring non-stop entertainment from noon until late.
More than just a music festival, the St. Ignatius Festival serves a greater purpose. The event is a fundraising initiative supporting St. Peter’s Kubatana in Highfield, with all proceeds directed towards community development, educational programs, and outreach initiatives that positively impact local lives.
“This is more than a concert. It’s a celebration of Zimbabwean talent coming together for a cause that matters,” says co-organiser Patricia Makani. “We are creating a space where families, friends, and the wider community can enjoy an unforgettable experience while directly supporting the work at St. Peter’s Kubatana.”
