Barbee first drew international attention with Missing You, a reggae duet with roots singer Junior Kelly, which gained heavy rotation in the Caribbean, North America, and West Africa. Her collaborations with dancehall legend Beenie Man, including hits like Paddy Cake, Diva in My Sneakers, and Light Some Candles, further cemented her reputation. Beyond music, Barbee is a social entrepreneur. With her mother, she cofounded the Roses Foundation, promoting youth development and the creative arts, including recent Children’s Day workshops in Ghana. Based in Buckhead, Atlanta, she owns a cutting-edge recording studio and creative content house, nurturing musicians, influencers, and digital creators.
