The comedy night promises an entertaining lineup featuring both comedians and musicians, including Kingsley, Tinotenda Lebohang, Trust K, Miss Jasmine, Shema Maphosa, and host MC Josh. The event is expected to attract comedy lovers looking for a relatable and humorous take on everyday life experiences.

Speaking in an interview with earGROUND TV, Vicaldo explained that the title New Year Old Me was inspired by his personal reflection on life and the realization that not everything needs to change simply because a new year begins.
“New Year Old Me is simply saying not much is changing. Life is good the way it is, especially for me, so that’s what we are going to talk about,” he said.
The Preacherman is known for staging at least three comedy specials each year. In 2024, he hosted the Gospel Comedy Festival and headlined shows such as Now That I’m Married and Let’s Go to Church.
According to Vicaldo, this year’s concept will connect more deeply with audiences because it reflects real-life experiences and personal growth. He said the show will explore the balance between wanting to change certain habits and accepting parts of oneself that remain unchanged.
Vicaldo has encouraged comedy fans to attend what promises to be a memorable night of laughter and relatable storytelling.
