This year’s event will run under the theme “Industrialisation: Crafting an Integrated Landscape,” and will be held for the first time over a six-day period, offering expanded opportunities for networking and business discussions.

In a historic moment, the President of the Republic of Mozambique, His Excellency Daniel Chapo, will officially open the 65th edition of ZITF on April 25, 2025.

According to the Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister, Dr Jenfan Muswere, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce is already engaging in strategic dialogues with national Business Member Organisations and industry associations to ensure maximum private sector participation and contribution to the event’s success.

As part of the logistical preparations, Air Zimbabwe and Fast Jet have been engaged to increase flight frequency for both exhibitors and visitors, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for all attendees.

As of April 7, 2025, 596 direct exhibitors have registered, marking a significant increase from the 428 exhibitors who had signed up by the same period in 2024. Of these, 98 are first-time exhibitors, further enriching the diversity of the event.

Currently, 95% of exhibition space has been booked, compared to 87% at the same time last year, highlighting the growing demand for participation. The international exhibitor space has also seen a marked increase, with 29 countries confirming their attendance, making this edition one of the most globally diverse to date.

The ZITF will feature a variety of events, including the International Business Community Connect Africa Symposium, the CBZ Original Equipment Manufacturers showcase, and the Rural Industrialisation Indaba, which will take place for the first time.
