In Zimbabwe the song Maria featuring Jah Prayzah has already started creating a lot of impact at the same time sparking an interesting conversation. The song samples a verse from one of Jah Prayzah’s Maria off the 2013 album Ngwarira Kuparara giving it a fresh sound, feel and magic from the voices of Peetah Morgan, Gramps Morgan, and Mr. Mojo Morgan.

The track speaks of a man pleading with his father-in-law to win the family’s approval to marry Maria the girl he loves and admires so dearly. It is a beautiful song and makes a true reflection of art that cuts the language barrier.
