Chiredzi based music producer-cum-artiste McHudson making moves

We profile artist and music producer McHudson, real name Hudson Tafara Musamba McHudson was born on the 18th of April 1996 in Harare and lived there up until 2006 when him and his family transferred to Chiredzi where he has been a resident up to date. McHudson finished his studies for his ICT degree at Chinhoyi University of Technology in 2018 and also pursued Music studies and Audio Engineering at Music Crossroads Academy and graduated in 2020.

McHudson started to record and produce music in 2013 after setting up his studio “McHudson Entertainment”.

McHudson as a talented Afrobeats artist he has done numerous songs in circulation. Apart from  from that he has also done Reggae /Conscious  songs that include “Only Love Can Hurt Like This” and “Gotta Be Strong”. Since McHudson started his music career he is yet to release an Album but EPs. Several of his songs have been enjoying airplay on radio stations such as Star FM , Power FM and National FM and these songs are “To settle”, “Takasangana paWhatsApp

As a music producer McHudson has worked with various names in the industry and has had the privilege of producing for the likes of Gary Tight , Nestro , Madiz, Dobba Don , Tererai Mugwadi and many more. 

McHudson is one of the only four Zimbabwean Artists to feature on South Africa’s late Dj Dimplez’s Album called “KUBU”. He is on track number 17 alongside Buffalo Souljah and TRK.

Currently McHudson is working as an independent artist and is receiving advice and mentorship from various professionals in the industry such as Enock Kamhiriri who is a well-known Producer in the  UK at Healing Hands Recording Studio who is also one of the founders of the Hohodza Band. 

McHudson produces all of his tracks at M.H.E (McHudson Entertainment) but at times he collaborates with other producers and Artists.
