Zimbabwe’s premier entertainer Tinotenda Marimo aka Dj Rimo has had a fruitful 2022 and has set his eyes on a bigger picture in the new year. We take a quick look back at some of his major achievements in the ending year.

This year it was his first time performing in Dubai in March for the Hustlers brunch polo event at Melia desert palm.
In April he flew to the US to perform for another polo event hosted by Yabe events at Prestonwood Polo club, Dallas Texas. In between Dj Rimo was rocking top clubs and concerts in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
After an amazing year of club performances he was nominated for best male Dj ASEA African social entertainment awards which he won becoming the first Zimbabwean Dj to win that award.
“2022 has been an interesting year, the entertainment industry came out of lockdown in Zimbabwe and things started slow, but began to improve as people were desperate to go out and get some normalcy. feel very blessed, very lucky. Sometimes I have to pinch myself to check if I am not dreaming. I am so grateful for these opportunities and appreciate the fact that I had platforms to showcase my talent,”
