One of the most polished and brilliant Zimbabwean voices MJ Sings whose real name is Mncedisi Ncube will be releasing his latest project the Umuzi Album Sampler on the 18th of November 2022. We had a chance to sample the forthcoming body of work and It’s compelling to the ear.

Produced by Murphy Cubic the Umuzi Album Sampler is a 4 track sneak peak into MJ Sings highly anticipated debut album . A romantic love story that’s accompanied by some smooth soothing vocals and some catchy grooves and a natural vernacular touch ,a mixture of (Ndebele , Zulu, Xhosa and English ).

MJ Sings’ lyrical and vocal dexterity is mesmerising.

One of the powerful record on the projects is Ikula , a Lovemore Majaivana sample that has a modern sound yet a soulful sound that permits identification with his influences. The project is closed off with a dancehall heartbreak song titled Nami which is inspired by an old school book Wangithembisa Nami .

MJ Sings is a Zimbabwean born Afropop, Soul and RnB Singer- Songwriter and 2015 Dreamstar – Zimbabwe alumni . His Influences are musical icons such as Usher , Lovemore Majaivana and Ringo Madlingozi. 

MJ Sings is popularly known for his soulful sound and hits like Dali Wami, Phakade , Ngizobuya  and his songwriting skills through projects such as the Award Winning Album Sana by Lee McHoney and Bongo Maffin member ( Speedy ), Sandra Ndebele and many more .

MJ Sings songwriting and singing talents have been recognized and appreciated by music critics , peer musicians in the industry and broader audiences worldwide ,with comparisons being made to his biggest influence Usher Raymond and the talents of Ringo Madlingozi .
