Qatar 2022 : Shingai, Manifest, Bass Thioung, Samuel Kamanzi sing for the World Cup

New World TV, Togo has announced that it will be releasing “On y est” (*we are in), a song and its music video dedicated to those who feel inspired by Africa and wish to support our qualified African teams.

This  shows once again our commitment to make this Premium tournament a celebration in the continent,  reach the Diaspora and beyond “

The Song is produced by International French football and ex PSG striker star Guillaume Hoarau and  Mathéo Techer known to be part of Quincy Jones label in the US. A lineup of top regional artists  perform the song in regional languages, English and French, namely Shingai (Zimbabwe), Manifest  (Ghana), Bass Thioung (Senegal) et Samuel Kamanzi ( Rwanda / Congo DRC). The music video was shot  in different location in Africa and directed by Guillaume Borrelli, nephew of PSG mythic founder Francis Borrelli. 

We wanted to bring various profile of artists, languages together in one song project in order to invite everyone – wherever the location – to support the African nations representing the African continent” said Guillaume Hoarau.  

“On y est” will be available from November 14th,2022 on Digital platforms : New World Sport’s Youtube channel, Deezer, Apple Music, Spotify, Orchard • Linear TV channels and radios on Sub Saharan african Free-to-Air channels and New World Sport  channels in the francophone African territories
