Dubbed, ‘the gathering of doers, and running under the theme #ConnectToThrive, the initial UK edition of the MESH will be taking place on the 24th of September at Dogget’s place in London. A fusion of live music, constructive dialogue and food, the Mesh brings together a network of Zimbabweans in the UK, sharing good ideas on how to “THRIVE!” in the UK.

Tracing its roots to 2018 in the capital of Zimbabwe, Harare, the vision was to create a platform for constructive dialogue: A mesh of learning, networking, and good fun. 5 years later, its birthing a new chapter in London under the inaugural theme “Connect to Thrive!”.

A renowned panel of speakers is lined up to discuss on various topics of interest to professionals, creatives and entrepreneurs living in the UK. Amongst the speakers will be, Tendai Bwanya, a Chartered Accountant and Partner with a big 4 accounting firm, Shingie Fundira an author, UK based life coach, medication awareness trainer & businesswoman,Kim Chimsasa an Actuary, Hedging Manager with Aviva & 2021 Stars of the Future award finalist, as well as Chamu Chiwanza an Executive director with Pinnacle International.
The event moderator on the day will be Ruvimbo Cee, a UK based keynote speaker and podcast host who has previously been voted as Beffa female youth Leader and Zimbabwe Young ambassadors youth special envoy.

A relaxed social and professional event, it will also be graced by musician Leonard Mapfumo who will be performing live music while the guests enjoy a drink and a bite!
