Q Dube comes to Harare with “I wish I was Joking” comedy show

If there is a comedian who is consistent Q Dube is the man. His stage name was known as “Q The Boss” a stage name he changed to Q Dube years later when he relocated to Johannesburg in 2018. In his latest comedy night show “I Wish I Was Joking” Q Dube makes a date with Reps Theatre main stage on Friday 12 August, a show he has worked on during lock down and post lockdown.

Q Dube, real name Nqobizitha Mitchel Dube is a stand-up comedian, Radio personality, T.V presenter, Actor, Voice over artist, Wedding and Corporate function Director of Ceremonies. Believe it or not the international comedian has shared the stage with Trevor Noah, Basketmouth, Anne Kansiime, Edi Kadii , Loyiso Gola , Alfred Kainga, Long John , The Goliaths and a whole lot more top comics. He has performed at numerous major Comedy festivals namely HIFA, SHOKO festival, Johannesburg International Comedy Festival and Swaziland Bushfire Festival.

Q Dube is a talented comedian no wonder why he was the NAMA Stand-up Comedian of the year in 2017.  Q Dube is a seasoned comedian having performed in Zambia, United Kingdom, Zimbabwe, South Africa, and Swaziland. His performance is flawless and like wine he continues to improve with age. The crowd love Q and Q loves the crowd, his stage presence is brilliant.
