Surrey-based Miriam Hakata, originally from Murewa in Mash-East, says she came across Andrea’s video where he sang Uhambo together with his family and she decided to look for him so that she could assist.

Ms Miriam Hakata has already paid for Andrea’s fees for the next 3 years as well as getting him all his uniforms in place.
Ms Hakata says she has never really done what she did for Andrea, although she sponsors a soccer Academy in Kwekwe. Ms Hakata funded Andrea’s education with her own personal money.
Andrea Sibanda’s parents expressed their gratitude for the gesture, after they had a formal meeting with Ms Hakata yesterday.
It was a pleasure to talk Andrea and his parents, and I am looking forward to meeting them I go home.
They are a humble family and I Pray that God will continue to bless them.

“ On behalf of the Sibanda family, we are thankful for what Ms Hakata has done for our song. The support is overwhelming. May God bless her in whatever she does. It is not everyday that we get to meet people like her”-Ntando Sibanda, Andrea’s father.
