This year Zimbabwe will see the hosting of the inaugural Phoenix Publishing Book Awards on  the 25^th of November 2022. The announcement was made today by award winning author and publisher Faith Chipangura the founder of Phoenix Publishing.

These awards aim to appreciate the great work being done by writers which sometimes goes  unnoticed. This will assist in elevating the literary industry in Zimbabwe. 

In the announcement the organisers said the awards will focus on the following categories: 

Fiction, romance, fantasy, adventure, sci-fi, Motivational , Spiritual, journals and devotionals, Self-help, Autobiographies, Poetry, Memoirs, Children’s books and more.

The application process opens 1 March 2022 and closes 30 August 2022. Interested candidates can  submit applications and their work (published between January 2021-August 2022) for the adjudication process. 

Faith Chipangura also invited potential partners and brands who wish to partner with order to make this historic event a success.
