Afro Jazz artist SolutionGC to rock the Jazz and Soul Friday Night this week

Afro Jazz artist SolutionGC together with his band Bravo Muzik Band will be rocking the ‘Jazz and Soul Friday Night’ this Friday the 19th of November 2021 at Theatre in the Park in Harare.


SolutionsGC was born Godfrey Chirau in 1999 and started his music career in 2012. He performed in different countries including Germany, France and China.

He is well-known for his song ‘Handidi Newe’ done in collaboration with Feli Nandi. Other songs include ‘Mukomana’, ‘Burutsai Masimba’ etc. The 22-year-old Afro Jazz artist has 2 albums and other 44 singles released in his name. He has done collaborations with Trevor Dongo, Stunner, Tocky Vibes, Pah Chihera among other prominent local artists and shared the stage with the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi, Mokoomba, Jah Prayzah, Ammara Brown and others.


When reached for comments, the singer appreciates the opportunity given to him by local radio stations and performance venues. He also promises only fireworks on his show on Friday.    

In their longstanding partnership, Dollarbill Entertainment and Theatre in the Park have benefited musical artists with platforms to grow their music career and boost online presence. The Friday concerts were primarily launched to uplift upcoming Zimbabwean artists. They evolved into a public musical platform accommodating different artists to promote the Zimbabwean content.

A chat with the organisers reveal that the platform is open to all local artists regardless of the genre and location. Artists from outside the capital are also accommodated and some hosted include Rutendo Jackie from Mutare, Vuyo Brown from Bulawayo to mention just a few.
