Organisers of the recently held two city Major League concert which ended up as a no-show in Harare for top flight South African Dj duo Major League Djz have spoken out over the non and botched up show in the capital. Major League DJz is a South African hip-hop / Kwaito music band consisting of the twin brothers Bandile and Banele Mbere.

The entertainers performed in Bulawayo on Sunday to a sold out electric show and had previously been billed to rock the capital, Harare at the Palm Tree but unfortunately the event was cut short just before the headline act hit the stage.

In a statement posted by one of the concert organisers Tinotenda Marimo aka Dj Rimo this morning the promoters explained what had transpired.
The organisers of the Major League show sincerely apologise for the failure of the djs to perform as advertised. The djs had been billed to start performing at 9pm. An oversight was made on our part regarding the actual time which the performance could take place under current curfew protocols.”

Rimo explained that their understanding was that they could hold the show until 10pm. Unfortunately they were wrong and the police were sent in to stop the show at 9pm, 1hr before curfew.
Major League DJs were already at the venue at the time of the stoppage. Contrary to various claims circulating on social media, there was no deliberate plot to defraud patrons and as the djs themselves can confirm they were indeed paid for all the 3 performances they were supposed to do.

Major League Djz had played at a private party on Friday in Harare and the Bulawayo show successfully, the incident at Palm Estate was unfortunate.
The Promoters are currently in talks with the Djs management for another show between now and December. All those who paid for the Palm Estate show will get free access to the said show which will be announced soon once negotiations are complete.
