DON DADA in major collaboration with Mexican Artist JAH FABIO

Humanitarian, RuFF CuTT Studio owner and recording multi-platinum selling Zimbabwean born, South African artiste Menelik Nesta Gibbons aka DON DADA in collaboration with Mexican Artiste JAH FABIO has officially released their highly anticipated Single, “BIG DADDY / PAPA GRANDE “.

Taking the saying “Artistes Unite” to another level the single “BIG DADDY / PAPA GRANDE” was produced during the Covid-19 lockdowns that have affected the globe and brought the traditional means of music creation to a halt for the time being.

Working digitally with a Nigerian producer ILLY, Don Dada and Paradise Systems used the power of the internet to connect with Jah Fabio all the way in Mexico creating this collaborative effort that showcases the cultures of two distinct continents (Africa & North America) and combines English and Spanish over a distinctly Afro beat making this a beautiful and unique song with elements for any listener to enjoy.

Don Dada’s low voice is complimented by Jah Fabio’s Higher tone and makes for a creative and dynamic song that will leave you wanting more. Ushering in a new age of Reggae / dancehall, BIG Daddy / Papi Grande is a refreshing take for both genres and can be considered a tone-setter and marker of the dynamic sounds coming out of Africa and Mexico currently and respectively.

Big Daddy / Papi Grande was made with a young audience in mind and reaches across different boundaries using Spanish and English as the medium of expression and using Afro Rhythms as the vehicle that drives the song forward.

Don Dada debuted the Jamaica LIVE series in Kingston Jamaica sharing the stage with the legendary Ken Booth, Reggae Powerhouse Band, Bonafide, Esco Da Shocker, Suga Roy & Conrad Crystal.

Opening shows for Beenie man, and Damarco in Zimbabwe, Lutan Fyah in South Africa and Everton Blender in Kenya.
