Super talented production duo Epic Minds have released a new hit, “Izolo”, featuring Flameboy Universe.

On the new production, the Joburg-based beatmakers fuse melodic Amapiano sounds with super crispy Afrobeats elements and much more to make a truly epic vibe.
Released on 11 May, the party-themed song is all about having a good time and is sure to get people on the dance floor with its catchy chords, bright synths and memorable hooks.
Formed in 2008, Epic Minds’ material was first picked up by the Red Bull Music Studio in 2012, when the duo’s song, “Jiva” was used in the Red Bull Beat Battle Competition.
Since then Epic Minds has done numerous collaborations with African artists, including Skales (Nigeria), Ingrid White (Cameroon) and Camidor (Ghana). Epic Minds is made up of Eddie Hatitye and Taf Chimbwa.
Born Sakhile Mavimbela, Flameboy Universe is a rapper producer and song writer at Sony/ATV. He released his first official single record “Nowerdays” in 2016. The record made it to the number one position on the “MTN SBIS 2 Radio Top 20 Chart Show”. On his second single “Dancing Alone” he collaborated with the legendary Swazi Dj “Wicked Handz”, and also this record was voted to the number position on the “MTN SBIS 2 Radio Top 20 Chart Show”. He has performed at numerous events including the “Global Leadership Summit Of 2016” and MTN Bushfire Festival.
“Izolo” is available on all platforms and a music video is in the works.
