‘ GHETTO ANTHEM ‘ might become the anthem for most ghettos in Zimbabwe, from his lates EP project ‘ MASHOKO KWAMURI ‘ which was dropped on the 13th of February. His words are full of prolific wisdom that can’t afford to be missed. DANCEHALL KEDDAH combining elements of calypso and rhythm and blues, which we call Reggae.

Already waiting for her new single ‘ ROSES ‘ which is set to drop on the 12th of March. JØY created a whole different context to her sound in which people got to appreciate. Her song with KID X, new day, has been performing very well. She deserves an ear !

Suhn

This is just a reminder. Let’s not wait on him to go international first. This is the sound to ride with right now. He just dropped his new single ‘ TWENTIES ‘. Watch the space SUHN is making major moves in the rap game, he is surely making a twist and changing how world should see hip hop culture in Zim.

5 « DING’O

Ding’o

Crossing over to a genre we must have sleeping on for quite some time. Shebeen Rap is a sub-genre of hip hop that is fused with elements of future bass, 1990s kwaito, hip hop and other genres. Shebeen rap is still being pioneered with other artists from Roman Rap Studios like Dough Major, Trey Kush just to name a few. Ding’o is it still on his mixtape which the streets of Zimbabwe are waiting on.
