Gogo Erita Gochera aka Mai Ngoromani who was popular for her role in the ZBC TV drama Puma YeNhaka that starred Paraffin died on Thursday the 25th of February in Harare.

She was sick for a long time and was admitted at Belvedere medical center for a week where she died on Thursday from suspected kidney failure.
Mai Ngoromani as she was affectionately known was a prominent actress on ZBC TV in the 90s for her role in the drama series Pfuma Yenhaka alongside several legendary actors. She will be buried tomorrow. May her soul rest in peace.
The drama centred around the struggles relating to property inheritance, family feuds, religion and traditions. In the series she was wife to Ngoromani and both had several children including Bhasiriyo another prominent character in Zimbabwean film history. The ever comic and hilarious Paraffin played in the leading role and rose to stardom through the series which was produced and directed by Agnes Kuda Gwatiringa.

She stayed in Chitungwiza before moving to Snake Park with a relative until the time of her death.
She will be buried today Saturday the 27th of February 2020 at her rural home in Zvimba, Mashonaland West. Her legacy will forever be remembered.
