National Cultural and Creative industries strategy for Zimbabwe now out

Minister of Youth, Sport, Arts and Recreation, Kirsty Coventry has officially launched the National Cultural and Creative industries (NCCI) strategy for Zimbabwe: 2020-2030.

The official statement released by the Minister in part read.

“The strategy comprises of TEN PILLARS which firmly position the CCIs as pivotal for the sector’s role in national economic development and employment creation.

During the implementation of the Strategy, the Ministry will include a wide range of stakeholders from the public and private sectors. The Ministry is reaching out to organisations and individuals who are interested in unlocking the inherent value and potential of CCIs to become formidable and robust economic sector for Zimbabwe.”
