The two produced their piece based on a story by a German based Filipino teenager Aira Patero.

In the one hour long interview Aira talked about who she is, her normal daily routine and how life with Corona has changed, what consequences she sees for herself and the world, and how she imagines life after Corona, what fear means for her and how she views a situation globally in which all borders are closed and everyone concentrates primarily on dealing with each other.

“As a production platform, we wanted to think further about the project, to create a network with artists who make artistic portraits from the interview material. We wanted to activate artistic activity in a time in which many artists are at home and not working, in which for many there is no income.” said the project director Cindy Jaenicke.

“With support from the city of Flensburg, KUENDA Productions was able to invite international artists included visual artists, dancers, choreographers, street artists, musicians, actors, actresses, writers, poets, graphic artists, video artists who collaborated in pairs of two. From Zimbabwe we have beatboxer and rapper Probeatz, Tinashe Masangudza of Gwevedzi Band, Tamika Manyoni a writer and poet taking part in the project.”

“The response from both sides was great, at the moment many people have a great need to exchange views on the inner state, the emotional consequences and the personal acute situation.”

“We didn’t want to describe and observe from the outside, we wanted to hear what it looks like in a small, personal cosmos. We will take care of further funding to expand the series.” added Cindy.
