There is a new voice on the Gospel music scene.
Tonderai Mubaiwa an upcoming gospel artist who started music when he was at school but started recording in 2017. The talented musician is destined for great success as evidenced by his polished vocals and the warm response his music is receiving.

He reckons that his inspiration comes from most High God but is also inspired by several artists like Charles Charamba, Oliver Mtukudzi, Jah Prayzah, Alick Macheso amongst others.
“I decided to do gospel music with a dancehall feel because I want more youth to be inspired by my music at the same they get to know the word of God”
Recently he released his debut album called Sarudza Jesu which has nine tracks and has been received good airplay on some radio stations. The title track is a definite hit song!
“The main message in my music is to let people know much about God’s unconditional love to us”
Mubaiwa promises more mature and good music from in the near future as he is working very hard to improve from where he is today and hopes to get to another level.
His entry into the music scene especially Gospel comes at a time when there is great renewal of the genre in the country with several shows and positive developments happening.
